Sitting here in Anchorage, Alaska--at home--not a shred of anything to be found in our luggage :(.
"Seriously!!..Wake-up!! It's time to pack!" my brain keeps trying to tell me. I react by looking outside, assessing the approximately 5 inches of new snow that fell overnight here. More snow on its way...MUCH more snow...but hoping and praying that the travel itinerary holds.
So, today's Agenda includes packing, RE-packing, finishing up the trip itinerary, RE-packing some more, obviously not getting enough to drink :), getting to the airport on-time...and did I mention packing appropriately?
Daytime temps in the low 50s in Paris most of the time we are there...rain expected early next week, but unsure. Still a ways out. But...WHO CARES, RIGHT?!?! ;)
Paris, France--City proper population right about 2.8 MILLION people...City metro population at nearly 13.0 MILLION people...MILLION!! Among largest urban centers in all of Europe...and absolutely NO idea what that even looks like. For reference, New York City's larger metro population is in the 19.0 MILLION people range. Paris is much more spread out, of course, while New York City is built 'up' (instead of out).
Okay, it's obvious that I am procrastinating...we need to PACK!!! Still, I LOOVE having 'problems' like this!! :)
